Our base is on Stone Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, situated 5 kilometres south of Marula. Marula is situated on the Bulawayo – Plumtree road. We are 75 km west of Bulawayo, and only 25 km east of Plumtree (on the Botswana border).
The co-ordinates are 20.521845 S, 28.106075 E.
If guests choose to fly, we pick them up at the Bulawayo airport. It takes about 45 minutes, by car, to the camp.
If guests choose to come from South Africa by road, the easiest route is through Martins Drift border post into Botswana – on to Francistown, then onward to Plumtree, and then camp. From Martins Drift, it is 400 km to camp, and can easily be done in five to six hours.
We do not recommend coming through the BeitBridge border post, because it is often very crowded and busy, and delays are common.
